Inspection is strongly recommended before installation. Our ignition box works with the softstart control installed from approx. 05.2010 and the original 250 Ohm pickups.
The plus from the starter motor can be used for the required soft start control connection of our ignition box.
Our soft start circuit will therefore only be activated when the electric starter is really turning.
Always ensure a very good minus connection to the battery
In principle, all motors can be converted to the 6+6 connections because the electrical function is always the same.
For the new wiring, only use tinned wires with a thickness of 0,75qmm and a temperature resistance of >110°C.
The distance at all pickups (trigger coils) should be 0.3mm to 0.4mm for an optimum ignition function. A check is useful.
When mounting the box, please use washers under the aluminium plate to create an air gap for cooling.
